Thermal modification is a chemical-free process that uses heat and steam to impart benefits of durability, rot-resistance, and beauty to wood. Silvering Process With or Without Cutek Extreme

Cutek Extreme is a wood-protecting penetrating oil that helps your Americana wood perform at its best. The natural silvering process will occur with or without initial application of Cutek Extreme. Below shows a side-by-side comparison indicating the rate and extent to which this silvering occurs in full summer sun.

Disclaimer: If silvering is NOT the desired look you're trying to achieve, we recommend using a tinted oil-based UV protectant.
