Kid Proof, Weather Proof, and Beautiful - All in One Porch

This Americana™ project features a 100-year-old American foursquare-style home, with a completely remodeled and updated interior. The front porch, however, had its original pine flooring, which had been painted over many times throughout the decades and was clearly showing its age from years of exposure to the elements. The homeowners wanted to replace the old pine flooring with natural wood that could withstand harsh winters, hot rainy summers, and the high-traffic demands of a busy household with kids and visitors.
